Raft the Upper Colorado River over two fun-filled days and build memories to last a lifetime.

Our “Upper C” overnight raft trip is an ideal rafting vacation for families or beginners wanting to spend an evening under the stars without the stress of big whitewater.

Calm stretches of water offer opportunities for swimming, picture taking, and relaxation, while class II rapids give you a small taste of Colorado whitewater.

You’ll have plenty of time to take in historic cabins, scenic waterfalls, and steep canyon walls towering 100-feet above your head. Bald eagles, black bears, and the Colorado river otter can also be seen.

This Colorado raft trip begins with a riverside lunch followed by a float through Little Gore Canyon. After arriving at camp, you’ll have plenty of time for hiking, fishing, fossil hunting, or just relaxing beside the river while your guides prepare a delicious and hearty dinner.

After breakfast on day two, you’ll continue down the river before stopping for lunch and a brief hike to dinosaur tracks. The trip finishes with five miles of class II rapids at State Bridge in the afternoon.

This Colorado multi-day rafting trip offers something for everyone! Enjoy wildlife, serenity, and natural beauty only the Colorado River can offer.

As a bonus, when the river is low, you might take a short excursion to some natural hot springs!

Please bring closed-toe shoes or water sandals (strap around the ankle), rain jackets, hats, and shades when rafting the Upper Colorado River. Also, wetsuits, booties, and splash tops are not available for rent on this raft trip because the Upper Colorado tends to be warmer than the rest of our raft trips and there’s little chance you’ll get wet from the rapids. Also, no blue jeans!

Cool fact: Keep your eyes peeled. You might spot a Colorado river otter. Did you know river otters can stay underwater for up to eight minutes and can close their ears and nostrils to keep water out? They can also dive to a depth of 60 feet!

*Check-in is required 30 minutes prior to departure time.

**Tents, sleeping bags, and sleeping pads are not included but are available for rent. You can also bring your own.
