The Upper Colorado (Upper C) Full Day raft trip is perfect for families and younger kids looking to relax under the Colorado sun. This trip takes you past dinosaur tracks and is complete with a cheese tortellini riverside lunch.
As a bonus, when the river is low, you might take a short excursion to natural hot springs!
Please bring closed-toe shoes or water sandals (strap around the ankle), rain jackets, hats, and shades when rafting the Upper Colorado River. Also, wetsuits, booties, and splash tops are not available for rent on this raft trip because the Upper Colorado tends to be warmer than the rest of our raft trips and there’s little chance you’ll get wet from the rapids. Also, no blue jeans!
Cool fact: Gore Canyon is an isolated three-mile canyon along the upper Colorado River, just southwest of Kremmling. The canyon was created by the Colorado River after many years of passing the northern end of the Gore Mountain Range. The walls of Gore Canyon are roughly 1000 feet high on both sides, making for awe-inspiring views.
