LET’S GO Off Road and Raft!

Explore the Backroads and Rivers of Colorado

Arguably, there is no better way to experience the rugged trails of the Rocky Mountains than through one of our rafting and off-road adventure trips. Access the back country after a day of whitewater fun on the Arkansas River and you will go home with a whole new appreciation for the beauty of the Colorado wilderness. Some of the best off-road trails in the country are right here in our back yard, and  our adventure specialists are waiting to help you take your dream vacation.

The best of both worlds— a morning of rafting and an afternoon of off-roading

Enjoy two fun, quintessential Colorado activities in one easy, incredible day. Best of all? It’s all planned by us. All you have to do is show up.

Off-Road and Raft starts at the Arkansas River Outpost for our 1/2 Day Browns Canyon National Monument Half Day raft trip—one of the world’s most popular whitewater rafting adventures!

Our Browns Canyon National Monument Half Day raft trip is great for families and individuals alike. This whitewater classic offers unbelievable Rocky Mountain scenery, class III rapids, and calm water perfect for a relaxing float after your thrilling day. After your rafting experience the shuttle will bring you back to the Arkansas River Outpost – a beautiful drive below several towering 14,000-foot peaks.

Next you adventure down the road to Collegiate Peaks off-Road located in the town of Buena Vista. Choose from a selection of 2 or 4 Door Jeeps and/or Razr’s to finish off your day on a self-guided adventure exploring the Four Mile Recreation Area or one of the many trails laced throughout the Collegiate Peaks.

Cool fact: Polaris co-founder Edgar Hetteen wanted an ATV that he could ride around in with his wife, Hannah. A series of concepts was drafted to explore the idea, and Polaris settled on a ride-in design that featured a steering wheel instead of handlebars.

*Check-in is required 30 minutes prior to departure time for each activity.

**Wetsuits, booties, and splash tops are included on this trip.
