Stand up paddleboarding (SUP), a sport that originated in the Hawaiian Islands, is now all the rage in Colorado.

From high alpine lakes to tumbling white water, people on paddleboards are everywhere.

Now it’s your turn to try the newest, most fun activity on the river with KODI’s Stand Up Paddleboard Adventure. Don’t worry, we won’t put you on any gnarly whitewater. Instead, we’ll start with an hour to 90 minutes of flat water stand up paddleboard training. We’ll then take you down a mellow stretch of the Upper Colorado River, where stunning Gore Canyon and its surrounding forests set the perfect Colorado backdrop.

After lunch, our professional guides will lead you down smooth class I- class II rapids to give you just enough challenge to rave home about.

Have smaller kids or less adventurous ones? They can ride in a raft while you SUP along. Also consider our duckies (inflatable kayaks) on this section. On these Upper Colorado scenic float trips, our rafts, duckies, and SUPs all go together, making it easy to mix it up for your group.

As a bonus, when the river is low, you might take a short excursion to natural hot springs!

Please bring closed-toe shoes or water sandals (strap around the ankle), rain jackets, hats, and shades when rafting the Upper Colorado River. Also, there’s no gear to rent on this trip because the Upper Colorado tends to be warmer than the rest of our raft trips and there’s little chance you’ll get wet from the rapids.

*Check-in is required 30 minutes prior to departure time.
